08.00p.m. - Great International end of Carnival gala dinner at Pisani-Moretta palace A welcome cocktail will be offered under the Porch of the Palace with music entertainment of the “Caffè Concerto Strauss” orchestra. Music entertainments and extraordinary performances will accompany the gala dinner which will be served on the main floor. PERFORMANCE by Ennio Marchetto. It will be possible to dance romantic nineteenth century arias accompanied by the orchestra and, in the marvellously lit entrance on the ground floor, you will be able to dance till dawn with contemporary music to celebrate the end of Carnival 2012. February 17, 2012 - Gala evening
The theme of the evening Gala will be Friday, February 17, 2012: works and its surroundings, heroes and heroines of bel canto.
The International Association for Venice Carnival is a non profit-making association.
Members come from all over the world, but membership is bound to a maximum number that cannot be increased for planning reasons: space in Venetian palaces is rather scarce and does not let us, with many regrets, extend us to an excessive number of members.
Therefore, whoever would like to join, should apply to the executive committee, which will follow all steps for the admission of the new member.
Proceeding is very easy: applicant will be included in a waiting list and will be kept informed, through the programme that the Association forwards, of all events organized.
Of course applicant will be allowed to participate, taking advantage of favourable opportunities, awaiting, as soon as place is vacant, to join by right the Association as a permanent member.
