From Saturday 11th till Tuesday 21st February, carnival parade for the Contest “The most beautiful Carnival costume” from 11.00a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 4.00p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on the stage in St. Mark’s Square.

SUNDAY 12th FEBRUARY 2012
11.00a.m. - appointment in St. Mark’s – Correr  Museum for the traditional flight of the Colombina.
Brunch at Presidio Cornoldi  in order to spend all together the first Carnival Sunday

THURSDAY 16th FEBRUARY 2012
5.00 p.m. - appointment at the Hotel Luna Baglioni for the traditional chocolate party.

FRIDAY 17th FEBRUARY 2012
8.00p.m. - International Association Party at Belzon Palace “Opera and its surroundings: Heros and Heroines of the Bel Canto”
In the splendid Benzon Palace, on the Grand Canal, dating back to 1600, among precious frescoes and stuccoes, it will take place a magical event in the most traditional Venetian Carnival style. The evening will enrapt and take us into the history of the most beautiful and involving lyric operas: Aida, Mimì, Madame Butterfly, Pollione, Léila, Don Giovanni…….will open the doors to an exclusive Theatre only for us. Rossini, Puccini, Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Donizetti will be the “Maestro” of the music which will accompany an evening full of charm. “Opera and its surroundings. Heroes and Heroines of the < Bel Canto >” is the theme that will make you the main characters of the lyrical magic of the evening.
A welcome cocktail will be served on the ground floor on the Grand Canal. Dinner will be served in the cosy rooms of the main floor.
The dance with international music, on the ground floor, will take us to the conclusion of an unforgettable night.
Also the magic garden will set aside surprises with special entertainment ......

SATURDAY 18th FEBRUARY 2012
Nations Parade to honour the Consular Corps of Venice.
3.30p.m. - meeting point at Ca’Giustinian (Venice Biennale headquarter) for the departure of the gondolas parade till Ca’ Sagredo. Extraordinary concert of baroque music. (Should it be rainy you will find private water taxies leaving from the same landing stage)

SUNDAY 19th FEBRUARY 2012
From 2.00p.m. to 4.00p.m. Final for the Contest “The most beautiful Carnival costume” in St. Mark’s Square.

8.00p.m. - Great Gala charity dinner on behalf of PRO-RETT Research at Contarini  degli Scrigni Palace.
We will have the honour to have access to the sumptuous and charming halls of the Palace Contarini degli Scrigni on the Grand Canal for an exceptional event.
This gorgeous and exclusive house, dating back to 1400, will open its doors to a magic evening, during which we will have the pleasure of assisting in “world premiere” to the exhibition of the extraordinary “The Italian Tenors”.
All this, without forgetting or disregarding the charity purpose of the evening on behalf of the Association PRO-RETT Research, as we are proudly supporting since many years.
Dances will start with the romantic music of the Caffè Concerto Strauss, in the sumptuous ground floor of the Palace.

TUESDAY 21st FEBRUARY 2012
08.00p.m. - Great International end of Carnival gala dinner at Pisani-Moretta palace

Known as the most important event to realize a dream and magically end a sumptuous Carnival, you cannot miss the famous INTERNATIONAL END OF CARNIVAL GRAND GALA AT PISANI-MORETTA in the gorgeous atmosphere of the most elegant Venetian Palace on the Grand Canal with precious frescoes painted by Tiepolo and completely enlightened by candles we will celebrate the end of Carnival 2012.

A welcome cocktail will be offered under the Porch of the Palace with music entertainment of the “Caffè Concerto Strauss” orchestra.

Music entertainments and extraordinary performances will accompany the gala dinner which will be served on the main floor.

PERFORMANCE by Ennio Marchetto.

It will be possible to dance romantic nineteenth century arias accompanied by the orchestra and, in the marvellously lit entrance on the ground floor, you will be able to dance till dawn with contemporary music to celebrate the end of Carnival 2012.

The famous DJ Alexandre Toesca will be accompanied by the Electic Violinist Filippo Rollando, internationally renowned.
